Give credit to Andre 3000 because most artists try to jump on a song with whoevers hotfind out why Andre declined the offer.

DRAKE is hoping to win over hip-hop star ANDRE 3000 with his new album THANK ME LATER after the OUTKAST star snubbed the opportunity to collaborate with the rap newcomer for his highly-anticipated debut.

Drake admits he was disappointed when Andre 3000 turned down his request to work together, but he is refusing to give up hope – and is already plotting to have him appear on his sophomore disc.

He tells Vibe magazine, "I really tried to do a song with Andre 3000, but I think it was meant for my second album.

"Dre is one of those people that needs you to do a little more. He’s one of those people that believe in his craft so much that he needs you to do more than just be over hyped or just famous. In his mind, I have to prove myself and the truth is, I do. Thats just being real. I have a lot of work to do, so I actually respect him for that.

"I think on the second album Ill probably only have two features. I have a few people in mind and Dre probably will be one of them."
