We know some of the rumours that fly around about Beyonce and Jay-Z are a bit ‘out there’ – but this one’s so far out there it’s quite literally out of this world!
The couple are reportedly in talks to be the first artists ever to film a music video in space, with the help of good pal Richard Branson.
His Virgin Galactic commercial flights will launch later this year, sending six passengers 70,000 feet into the air. The trip will involve six minutes of weightlessness, during which brief time the superstar couple aim to shoot a promo clip.
A source told The Sun: "The label people have been talking about making a music video in space. Beyoncé and Jay-Z seemed the obvious option. everything is being done to make it happen."
Today, the couple’s newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter becomes the youngest star ever to chart in the US, as Jay-Z’s new song ‘Glory’ – which features the sound of the tot crying – enters at No. 74 on Billboard’s Hip-Hop/Rap Songs chart.
It has been reported that they have spent upwards of $1 million on their first child.
