Dulé Hill and Mekhi Phifer will star in the Alicia Keys-produced Broadway play “Stick Fly” along with Tracie Thoms, Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Condola Rashad, Keys announced in a press release today.In Lydia R. Diamond’s play about family, class and race relations, Hill (“Psych,” “The West Wing,” plays writer Kent “Spoon” Levay and Thoms (“Rent,” “cold Case”) will play his fiancée, an entomologist. In his Broadway debut, Phifer (“ER,” “8 Mile”) plays Kent’s brother Flip, a plastic surgeon. Santiago-Hudson plays father Joe Levay and Condola Rashad of “Ruined” plays the maid Cheryl. The role of Kimber, a part-time teacher, will be announced at a later date. Kenny Leon directs.The play, which appeared in 2007 at the McCarter Theatre, begins previews Nov. 18 and opens Dec. 8 at the Cort Theatre, 138 W. 48th Street. MYFOXNY.COM – LONDON — Rapper and producer Swizz Beatz reached an official child-support deal with the mother of his love child in London, the New York Post reported Monday.
Sources confirmed that 33-year-old Bronx-born producer and rapper Beatz, husband of Alicia Keys, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, recently struck an out-of-court settlement with UK-based singer Zhanna Andrianova, mother of his three-year-old daughter Nicole.
