Kung Fu Panda 2 opens in cinemas this weekend and the industry is praying that the chubby panda with a knack for martial arts will kickstart box office takings for 3D films, which like many cinema-goers are beginning to give film studios a headache.

CHICAGO: Feeding the strong demand for Indian movies abroad, Reliance owned BIG Cinemas has become India’s first cinema chain to make its presence felt around the world including the United States.
“There is a strong demand for Indian content across all markets and our cinemas are performing extremely well,” CEO, Reliance MediaWorks, Anil Arjun said.
