For more than a decade, Afroman has been delivering laidback hip-hop filled with comedic lyrics that often deal with such subjects as malt liquor and marijuana. although he had a major hit in 2001 with his infectious single “Because I Got High,” the Grammy-nominated rapper has spent most of his career in the underground. Afroman returns to Ground Zero on Saturday along with Washington-based outfit Super bob, which injects funk and hip-hop into its original hard rock sound. Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets are $15.
