“It’s TV, so it’s not real work,” Anderson Cooper prattled on happily at Summer TV Press Tour 2011 about his complete confidence in his ability to continue anchoring his nightly CNN show, while also doing six segments a year for CBS newsmag “60 Minutes” and — starting Sept. 12 — hosting a new daily talk show.
“Solid” is hardly the most scintillating adjective for a music festival, but it best fits this year’s installment of the Pitchfork Music Festival. even Odd Future, whose controversial booking caused considerable excitement to ripple through Union Park before the rap collective finally took the stage Sunday, merely delivered (here’s that word again) a solid set of music that never really lived up to the cavalcade of pre-festival hype.
The bachelorette, Ashley Hebert, is now down to the final two after the great Fiji weekend and the ‘fantasy suite dates’. Ben Flajnik and J.P. Rosenbaum are the last two bachelors on the show.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony announced their surprising decision to end their marriage Friday, but there were signs of trouble leading up to the power couple’s split.
Anthony, 42, was conspicuously absent at the star-packed BAFTA Brits to Watch bash in L.A. on July 9. Lopez, 40, brought her mother Guadalupe as her date to meet Prince William and Duchess Kate.
Bernice Burgos is the total package— beauty, brains, and a sports fan. The Harlem native-turned Bronx transplant first appeared in Jim Jones and Ron Browz, “Pop Champagne” video back in 2008. Since then she’s done a host of videos for artists such as Jaheim, Trae tha Truth and R&B newcomer Hal Linton. The Puerto Rican beauty from the Bronx tells XXL, about her turn-ons, the importance of foreplay, and why sex on the highway is the best sex. Buckle up, put your seat in the upright position. Today’s Eye Candy is sure to take you for a ride you’ll never forget. – Mike Hennix
Ryan Dunn was remembered yesterday in West Chester, Pa., as his family and many of his famous friends paid their respects to the actor after his sudden death early Monday morning. Jackass co-stars Johnny Knoxville and Bam Margera attended, as did Knoxville’s wife Melissa, Margera’s parents Phil and April, and It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia actors Glenn Howerton and Rob McElhenney.
Greetings, loyal readers. how is your summer 2011 going? Hot and humid enough for ya? Seek solace this weekend in the icy cold climes of your local multiplex, or even your arthouse, they too have air conditioning! this weekend make it a double feature with a little taste for everyone’s palate. Blockbusters and art cinema go together like peanut butter and chocolate. which one is the peanut butter and which one is the chocolate? I don’t know! Leave your theories in the comments. For those of you who like your summer movies big and meaty, we’ve got the lens flare fest, excuse me, I mean nostalgic Spielbergian homage “Super 8” from JJ Abrams. If you like your movies more microbudgeted and wry, try the Steve Coogan road trip flick “The Trip.” maybe you want to catch up with the latest Woody Allen romp, “Midnight in Paris” as it continues its roll out. at any rate, this weekend is a good one for original content. not a sequel in sight. Yay! Join me now, on this fantastical journey.
