Ice Loves Coco‘s premiere suffered from the problems that all the Kardashian series frequently do: not a lot happens, no one has much of a personality (this is extra strange considering the stars of this series), and the conflicts are low stakes and more producer-contrived than a Real Housewives dinner party. the main storyline followed Coco as she was hired to model a wedding dress line, began to doubt herself, was “criticized” by the “mean” photographer in charge of her shoot, then was convinced by Ice to put on something ridiculous to be true to herself and finally aced the shoot. how many times has this exact storyline (substitute the wedding dresses for literally any product and Ice for Kourtney or Malika) happened to Khloe Kardashian? 50? and each time it’s more boring than the last. This is not the Coco I know.
