The Occupy Wall Street movement has set up shop in two Saskatchewan cities.
In Regina, protesters are gathered downtown in Victoria Park. Regina police say approximately 50 people stayed overnight in the park, braving the mid-October chill.

ABC Cancels “Charlie’s Angels” Reboot

ABC‘s Charlie’s Angels, featuring a first “black angel” (actress Annie Ngosi Ilonzeh), has been canceled and its production shut down, according to Deadline.
The show had been suffering from dismal ratings; although the Charlie’s Angels reboot peaked to 1.3 last night, the show had dropped sharply for 2 weeks to a 1.2 ratings in adults 18-49 last Thursday.
The world-famous Waikiki Beach stretches for a mile. Waikiki Resort Hotel Director for Sales Loren Shim says it’s called “The Magic Mile” because “all the action can be found on it.”
‘Hawaii’s all about kicking back and doing nothing,” says a regular visitor to Honolulu.

More heritage sites declared

Several historical sites have been declared heritage sites, meaning that they have been given protection. among them are Regina Mundi Church and St Aubyn’s House.
SOWETO has scored big in the latest round of provincial heritage site declarations. Regina Mundi Catholic Church, James “Sofasonke” Mpanza House, Orlando Community Hall, and Zephania “Zeph” Mothopeng House have all been given heritage protection by the Provincial Heritage Resources Agency of Gauteng (Phrag).

Two males are facing aggravated assault charges after a weekend brawl that sent two males to hospital.
Justin McKay, 25, and a 17-year-old male youth – who can’t be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act – made their first court appearances Monday, each facing two counts of aggravated assault in relation to the incident from late Sunday afternoon. McKay is further charged with possessing a machete and a breach of his probation.
