I know absolutely nothing about Shaquille O’Neal as a basketball player. I’m more familiar with his personal life (i.e., being married to Shaunie, d-ck report, courtesy of Superhead and that he’s currently dating Hoopz). what I do know is that, even though he’s corny as hell, I love watching interviews where he gets a chance to show his personality. He’s goofy…but he seems fun. During this brief interview with Robin Roberts of good Morning, America, he gives you a look at his Florida mansion, talks about his future plans for his Ph.D, and what he’ll no longer answer to once it’s complete! Twins first baseman Justin Morneau, when he was shut down for the season in September because of concussion symptoms and other ailments, expressed a willingness to DH more in 2012. That very well could happen. Twins manager Ron Gardenhire, during an appearance on ESPN 1500AM on Wednesday, said he wants to decide sooner than later if the former MVP will play at first base or be the DH. “One of the things Terry [Ryan, the Twins' GM] and I talked about is making sure before we get too deep in this thing [is] what were going to do with Morny,” Gardenhire said. “Where he is going to play, if it is DH, if it is first base. Morny has to eventually tell us what’s right for him or I’ll make the decision for him and we will go from there.” (Star Tribune) Comment

Shaquille O’Neal is happily living the retired life, and while those other players are enduring the lockout, it’s interesting to see how the retired man is living to say the least. He’s living things up with his girlfriend Hoopz, while they do some seriously interesting workouts and more.
