R&B songstress Teairra Mari premiered on Valentine’s Day the music video for “Stranger” – a beautiful ballad included on her latest EP “HERE” – via World*Star Hip Hop – The 253-produced and Teairra Mari-penned “Stranger” is the new official single – follow-up to “Body” – lifted from the singer’s before mentioned EP which hit iTunes in August 2010. I love this song! I actually like everything Ms Mari does. I downloaded her “Point of No Return” mixtape and the “Sincerely Yours” EP and loved both. Sad though, she’s not really getting any success in the States. She’s tried it all, but the outcome is still the same = flop. I commend her perseverance, though. And I really hope she keeps getting the chance to record new music, and release it, even if it’s in the form of mixtapes. As for the new “Stranger” visual, it features a stunning-looking Teairra Mari singing the ballad in differrent scenes like braving a heavy-rainy night with her umbrella, donning a sexy gown and performing “Stranger” before a piano, ‘recording’ the song in the studio, etc. Decent visual for a great R&B ballad.
I wise man once told me that if you’re explaining…then you already losing. Teairra lost this argument a long time ago.
It’s almost impossible to be the next Beyonce…but Teairra Mari is trying hard!
Teairra is suppose to be the younger, more talented and sexier version of Beyonce. I wouldn’t go that far yet…but this is a pretty damn good start!
