There’s no question that “Hud” is a quintessential Texan movie.
And now it’s official, thanks to a panel of movie experts who placed the 1963 drama in a list of the top 10 Texas movies in the June issue of Texas Monthly.
On Saturday, “Hud” is coming home to the Panhandle again.
If it’s summer in San Diego, chances are there’s an outdoor movie screening going on at a park or recreation center or hotel somewhere.
But a favorite destination for films under the stars is the unlikely Stone Brewing World Bistro and Gardens in Escondido.
