Nothing is going right for the former hip hop star.
Although DMX is currently locked-up for drug possession and theft, his property has become free game for those seeking funds from the former rap star.
His Arizona home went into foreclosure this month and to prevent the bank from seizing his valuables, DMX reportedly ordered that his home be burglarized to have his possession removed.
Two black males who visited DMX literally hours before the burglary took place are under investigation. A host of jewelry, cash, guns and two motor bikes were removed from the premises. In addition, the thieves grabbed specific items such as music awards, family pictures and two laptops.
Police suspect, but can’t yet prove, the individuals were closely related or affiliated with DMX. Detective Cardinal told reporters, “I think people showed up, knew what the wanted, and walked into the house and took what they wanted.”
DMX paid $600,000 for the property in 2003, but a local bank has put it up for sale at the reduced price of $429,000.
