The dead don’t stay dead and the resistance grows for Alice’s fight against Umbrella in Resident Evil: Retribution. with the original RE team commander One (Colin Salmon) having been announced as returning to the fifth installment earlier this month—despite a deadly laser sequence in the first film—Deadline has confirmed that Michelle Rodriguez and Oded Fehr are also returning for another round.
In spite of their apparent demises in the first and third films, the online trade added they will be back and that Johann Urb (2012) and Kevin Durand have also boarded the Paul W.S. Anderson production. Feel free to speculate below on how the truly dead (opposed to the undead) are returning to life for this fifth tale.
The four incoming stars join the previously confirmed Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Salmon, Shawn Roberts, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter and Spencer Locke. Franchise director and producer Anderson is returning behind the camera, based on a script he wrote.
