Eva Pigford, the American fashion model and actress, has arrived in Barbados. Best known for her win in cycle 3 of America’s next Top Model in 2004, Pigford travelled to the island to co-host the Karl J Celebrity Hairshow which took place last night at the Sir Garfield Sobers Sports Complex. Eva was joined in her duties by another American actress Meagan good who arrived just hours before the show.
Pigford announced that she was not only on the island to host the show but also to indulge the activities and delicacies that Barbados has to offer. she says she wants to enjoy the beauty of the island and she plans to have a lot of fun. The 26- year old, green-eyed beauty revealed that although she has travelled all over the world, she had never been to Barbados and she heard it was gorgeous. Pigford, who now goes by the name Eva Marcille for acting purposes, stated that she enjoys going all around the world and meeting people who look like her in terms of hair texture and who have a similar history to hers. she is not only known for her modeling but also for acting abilities having guest –starred in several TV shows including Kevin Hill, Smallville, Everybody hates Chris and the Game. she has also hosted several shows such as BET’s “Rip the Runway”and appeared in a number of music videos including “Baby” by Angie Stone, “I Get Money” by 50 cent, and “DJ Play a love Song” by Jamie Foxx.
Her co-host, Meagan good, has just as much experience as she does, beginning her career at age four. she appeared in several commercials, TV shows, films and music videos including “Friday”, “Biker Boyz”, “Deliver Us from Eva”, “My Wife and Kids”, “You got Served”, “Roll Bounce”, “Waist Deep”, and “Stomp the Yard”, to name a few. good has a connection to the island having announced in interviews that her grandfather from her father’s side hails from Barbados.
