Some people stay together for the sake of their children…I’m not sure if its a good thing or a bad example for the kids.
Snoop Dogg and his wife managed to save their relationship after they were brought closer together after their daughter, Cori, was diagnosed with lupus.
The rapper’s wife, Shante and Snoop spoke to People magazine and said that after they found out that Cori had the autoimmune disease they readdressed their problems.
Snoop Dogg originally filed for divorce in 2004 but they re-united after a couple of months. After withdrawing the application, the pair renewed their vows in 2008.
Shante said: “Without [Snoop], I don’t know what I’d have done. It’s amazing how this all turned out. We were gonna get a divorce. But we wouldn’t have gotten through [the lupus diagnosis] that way.” Snoop added: “That’s what it boiled down to. Cori’s lupus showed us we need to be together forever.”
