LAFARGEVILLE — Chuck Hebing came away with the victory Saturday night in the Empire Super Sprints 25-lap feature at Can-Am Motorsports Park on the second night of the 9/11 Weekend finishing ahead of Lance Younge and Cory Sparks.
Brandon Hagan won the 50-lap sportsman race while Kyle Wilson was the runner-up and Chris Herbison took third.
Lee Gill beat Mike Trapp and Jordan Keruskie to the finish line in the 25-lap late model feature. John Behorn won the 20-lap mod lites race with Tiger Chapman and Matt Rainville finishing in the top three.
On Friday night, the winners were: Sir Harmer Sr. (street stocks); Jeremy Pitcher (sportsman); Steve Gilmore (pure stocks); Lee Gill (late models); Ray Bechler (thunder cars); John Behorn (mod lites).
Elsewhere, Bobby Varin won the prestigious 100-lap modified feature Saturday night at the Utica-Rome Speedway.
Tim McCreadie was not a factor in the outcome of the World 100 Saturday night at the Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Watertown native Tim McCreadie was an early casualty in the race, running fifth when he broke a right-front shock on lap 39.
