Well, I can say I make more than $70,000 with my college education. I’m a Maternal-Fetal Specialist or Perinatolgist. I have three Bachelors, two Masters, and a doctorate. I’m well into the six figures, and yes, I am an African-American female. Admittedly, I beat the odds. I am from a very small town in Louisiana. When I left for undergrad, people thought I was crazy. I knew that there was nothing my hometown could do for my dreams. Do I have hundreds of millions of dollars? no, and I am happy about that. did I have to give up my privacy in order to accomplish my dreams? no. Do you think celebrities are 110% happy? no. Look at Alexander McQueen. One of the most well known names in the fashion industry, and he committed suicide. The future Queen of England and present Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine, would go on to chose his label to design what would become a part of history. Sadly, he wasn’t there to witness it. I’m inclined to agree with the aforementioned statement about not all college educated people being smart. Celebrities might have it all on the surface, but it’s the quote, unquote “average” people who are some kind of wonderful. Prime example, when I was working as a Financial Analyst, I met this unique man. he attained four Masters degrees and Ph.D. in five years. Keep in mind ONE Masters takes 18 or so months. that is going full-time. People like him are the ones who may eventually find a cure for cancer.
