1325610974 88 Hip Hop News: DMX eyes another drug free comeback with Lil WayneIt seems like 2012 just may be DMX’s year for a comeback.

The hip-hop star has had a long battle with drug addiction, but it seems things are finally back on track, and he now plans to drop his seventh studio LP in the spring.

Dubbed Undisputed, the project is slated to drop in March, via United Music & Media Group, with its first single to be released in the coming weeks.

According to a press release, X’s album will feature appearances from Busta Rhymes, Tyrese, and Jennifer Hudson, with production from Swizz Beatz and Deezle (“Lollipop”).

“Expect the unexpected. Expect the new improved,” his Ruff Ryders affiliate Swizz previously said of X’s first new project since 2006′s Year of the Dog… again. “Expect hip-hop. Expect real music. Expect the Dog to be back.”

Longtime producer Dame Grease said he’s produced the majority of the record, which they began working on over the summer.

Undisputed is slated for March 27th.

X made an appearance at LIV nightclub in Las Vegas on New Year’s day, reuniting with hip-hop superstar Lil Wayne, who introduced the Yonkers emcee to a VIP crowd, which included Rihanna, Rick Ross, and Teairra Mari.

“Tonight is history ’cause I got a f***ing legend standing behind me,” Weezy said. “When I turned around, I saw this n****, I was like, ‘Stop the music and let these motherf***as know that DMX is in this bitch.’ ”
