Hiphop producer Kanye West is reportedly disappointed with Micahel Jackson’s latest decision.
The King of Pop, Micahel Jackson, has personally reached out to Black Eyed Peas star will.i.am and Ne-Yo for his comeback tracks.
In addition to working on new music tracks, the Thriller star is taking up residency in London for a 50-date comeback run which will take him through February of 2010.
Jackson is heading back into the studio to record new songs ahead of his live dates and he’s calling on the music heavyweights to make a killer tune for release this summer.
Reportedly several attempts by Kanye West’s camp to work with Jackson have been met with resistance or as one insider put it, “It’s not that Mike is just flat our rejecting Kanye, but he just hasn’t responded to him…but instead has gone after other producers.”
Said the insider, “Kanye takes that kind of stuff personal which is why he’s pissed.”
According to a Jackson spokesman, “Kanye West has submitted a track for Mr. Jackson’s approval, but there’s nothing more to say at this time.”
Poor Kanye…always looking for validation. We hope he finds it one day.
