imo, i am so sadden and vex how it seems so many black people today(especially 35 and younger)have lost our understanding, passion, & drive about what our ancestors, sang, marched, protested, were beaten, raped, enslaved, castrated, burned, hung, humiliated, violated, and severly oppresed.

I watched the award show and I guess his performance wasn’t all that great to me because I don’t even remember his performance or the young girls and how do they know that they were teenagers?

I am glad BET got in trouble. They should of known what he was going to perform and should have stopped it. They allowed him to rap a very dirty song in front of little girls shows that BET has sunk to an all time low. This show was about a tribute to Michael Jackson and he is an example how you can make music without making it vulgar!

i thought they blurbed out most of what he said, but he knew he was going to get in trouble for that….. people do those things to try and keep in the news
