Soul star NATALIE COLE is planning a major comeback concert to thank fans for their support during her recent health crisis.
The Unforgettable singer recently underwent a kidney transplant and now she’s keen to get back onstage.
She’ll perform at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on 9 September.
Cole, who has battled kidney failure and hepatitis C in the past 12 months, has announced the shows in a statement thanking fans for their support during her battle and the loss of her sister Carole, who died in May – on the same day the singer had surgery.
She says, "My family and I want to express our extreme appreciation for the outpouring of kindness we have received… In the midst of sorrow I am still able to celebrate my new lease on life. There is always a silver lining.
"I thank God for this golden kidney and I look forward to going back to work in the fall. I will see you in the music."
