Estelle is back with her signature sound and this time she has hopped on G.O.O.D. Music signees, Don Jazzy & D’Banj’s record, “Oliver Twist.” Estelle’s unique voice and R&B meets hiphop flow seems to gel well on the track that is not an easy cover. In the song, Estelle makes her appreciation for American, Jamaican and British men well known. Tinie Tempah, Usher and Kanye West are a few on the men included on her list of loves.
The Grammy award-winning Estelle’s “e-mix” of “Oliver Twist,” comes just as she is placing the finishing touches on her third album, all of Me, slated to be released Feb. 28. the album features “Break My Heart,” featuring Rick Ross and her latest single “Thank you,” written by Akon. Estelle’s musical range continues to grow and using the “Oliver Twist” track as evidence, it is safe to say that she is avoiding boxing herself into any one genre.
