According to the NY Daily News, Jojo Simmons, aspiring rapper and the son of Rev. Run (Run DMC) and star of “Run’s House” got busted for weed last night in Washington Heights. Not only that, they also said that he resisted arrest.”Jojo Simmons, 19, got caught buying marijuana from a street pusher on Wadsworth Ave. in Washington Heights and made things worse by getting rough with the officers, police said.
they said Jojo was behind the wheel of his BMW, which has “JoJo” embroidered on the head rests, rolling a joint when the narcs came up and knocked on his window. He jammed the car into reverse and tried to flee but slammed into a parked car. He then tried to go forward but hit another parked car, police said. Jojo then went to plan B, fighting with officers, said police.” We know that narcotics possession is not really a big deal in the hip hop community that Jojo is trying to fit into, but this definitely isn’t a good look for him, considering the image that is portrayed on “Run’s House”. Wonder if they are going to touch on this “situation” on the show. These young celebs are really becoming off the chain these days.
