A perfume company that went into business with Prince to make a “3121″ fragrance — named after his 2006 album — sued Prince on Monday for $100,000 for failing to help promote the perfume.
Apparently, Prince and his music publisher Universal Music Publishing Group reached a licensing agreement with a perfume company in 2006 to use Prince’s name and likeness to market two fragrances.
Since then, Prince has allegedly failed to uphold his part of the bargain and promote the perfume.
This may be a legitimate law suit, how many of you heard of this cologne before now…exactly!
