Dear PETA:

You usually attract more bees with honey than vinegar.

Janet Jackson’s new campaign is for the luxury fur company Black Glama.

The superstar is also seen looking beautiful but draped in mink in the new adverts.

PETA have since commented on the campaign which will feature in magazines such as Vanity Fair, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, and were more than scathing of Jackson’s career move.

PETA spokeswoman Amanda Schinke told Contactmusic.com: “It’s amazing what celebrities will do when their careers are on a downslide, but we didn’t think that Janet was this desperate…Surely she knows enough about suffering and unjustified death to recognize that both occur in the production of a fur coat.”

The animal rights organization is calling for Jackson to quit the campaign, which will also include a billboard in Times Square, and to donate her furs to be used as bedding for orphaned animals.
