St. Scholastica Catholic School in Woodridge is celebrating Catholic Schools Week next week with a number of activities and events.
The week starts off at noon on Sunday with a family Mass, followed by a school open house. Monday will feature students out of uniform, and an anti-bullying assembly at 8:15 a.m., a three-on-three basketball tournament at 9:30 a.m., and an honors assembly at 1:15 p.m.
Tuesday will feature a Bring Breakfast to School day, and class activities, and the 2012 Seconds of Reading Program. Wednesday will feature movie and popcorn day, and crazy hair day, were students can come to school with the wildest hairstyles. Thursday’s dress will feature black out day, with students wearing all black clothes, hats and accessories, and Friday will feature a pep rally, the three-on-three championship, and an 11 a.m. dismissal.
