R&B superstar Usher lost $1 million in clothes and jewelry in car burglary last month.
On Dec. 14, Usher parked his car next to an AT&T store near the popular Lenox Mall in Atlanta when the crime took place. An eyewitness revealed that a man in his twenties jumped out of a Chevy Impala with tinted windows and opened the door to Usher’s Black GMC Yukon, making off with the goods.
Usher told local authorities that jewelry, along with $50,000 in furs and about $20,000 in cash were lost in the heist. A source also told Fox 5 that the Grammy-winning singer was particularly concerned about two laptops that were stolen because they contained a few never-before-heard tunes that he’s been working on.
Police are still investigating the case.
