Rapper ALFAMEGA has hit out at former friend T.I. in an emotional letter – after the hip-hop mogul dumped him from his record label amid allegations the star was a police informant.

Alfamega – real name Cedric Zellers – was at the centre of reports he once passed information to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) during the investigation of a heroin trafficker.

T.I. quickly distanced himself from his protege when the allegations were made public, dropping him from Grand Hustle Records in May.

Alfamega has since hit out at the reports, insisting he has never had any involvement with the DEA – and now he’s written a letter to T.I. begging to rekindle their friendship.

He writes, "You once said, ‘… Ay, I don’t talk behind a n**as back, I say it in his face.’ Well, consider this letter as me showing you my face.”

"I understand that business is business, therefore you have to manage yours the way you see fit… I’m coming to you as a man who is disappointed that he was publicly exiled by a friend.”

"I’m sitting here contemplating my present circumstances and I’m astonished… On many occasions, I sidelined my family choosing to risk my early demise for you. I could have died during many instances that I stepped up for you on. I’m dismayed by the fact that you – of all folk – would leave me treading water in the middle of the ocean with my situation.”

"Time after time, I defended your honor… Yet when I attempted to reach out to you… you sent word back telling me to write you a letter. Frankly, I’m taking it as another b**ch slap to the face therefore I resolved that I would gladly oblige your request.

"However, I decided that since you went publicly with your statement, I may

as well go public with mine. After all, there’s no sense in hiding now. Plus, I’m hoping to avoid any further misunderstandings. I want you to pull up the red tape and let’s communicate one on one.

“Once this is published, I’m giving you a week to call me. Should you choose to not call me within that timeframe, I’ll know exactly where we stand."

I’d like to give Alpha-whoever credit for speaking his mind…but why write a letter and put it online as a way of “telling you to your face”.   I just don’t get it.

its all bout what the people think and how TI reacts. He wants the people to support him and TI to fall in line based off public opinion. It mite work and it mite not. I say holla at TI and if homie dont feel you based off what you had to say from your heart, you need not be there ne way. Since in the music game public opinion really matters address the public when the time allows. I believe homie is hurt but being fronted on in public is worse, on top of that its messing with his money. So that letter is his way of dealing with it all in one big swoop.
