Tyrese finally comes to his senses

Tyrese Gibson is turning his back on his music career to focus on Hollywood.

The Transformers star had success in singing and modeling before hitting the big screen, but he’s now looking to establish himself as a Hollywood A-lister after taking advice from superstar Will Smith.

He says, “I had one of the heaviest and deepest conversations with Will Smith and he said to me, ‘Tyrese, you are 29 years old, and I just turned 40… If you take this acting thing serious for the next three years it’s gonna change your life forever.’

Tyrese’s focus is now strictly on making great movies and has even lost forty pounds training with Will Smith.

We think this is definitely a smart move for Tyrese as everyone is aware the music industry is hurting right now and “movie money” is far more lucrative.

In addition, after listening to his last album where he experimented with being an alter ego rapper by the name of “Black Tye”.  We were definitely not impressed and felt he should focus on what he’s good at….acting or singing!
