NBA baller Amar’e Stoudemire is adding one more credential to his impressive resume. Not only is he a beast on the basketball court, a fashion designer, an author, but now he can claim the title of an actor. He’s making his acting debut guest starring on an upcoming episode of TV Land’s new comedy series ‘The Exes.’
It was filmed during the NBA lockout, which gave Amar’e and other players plenty of time to discover new talents and try different things.
Stoudemire will play Phil’s (Donald Faison) top client, basketball player Kevin Tyler who starts dating Holly (Kristen Johnston). Their on screen romance takes a comedic spin while Haskell (Wayne Knight) lures Stuart (David Alan Basche) into the world of sports betting. “The Exes” premiered in November and stars Donald Faison, Wayne Knight, David Alan Basche, Kelly Stables and Kristen Johnston. the new series on TV Land focuses on three single men who are brought together by the one thing they have in common – their female divorce lawyer.
