Award winning athletes open up private lifestyle for reality TV.

Venus and Serena Williams, who recently opened a Tennis Academy located at the Arthur Ashe Tennis Center of L.A., announced plans to expand into reality TV.

The professional tennis stars told reporters they are filming a reality show pilot that will “show the real us. We’ve been so private for so many years and now it’s time to loosen-up,” said Venus.

When pressed as to what viewers can expect, Serena said, “Everything!  You’ll see how we argue and make-up…and yes, you’ll see all the juicy details of our love lives”.

Older sister Venus quickly responded, “Her love life.  I’m still trying to find Mr. Right…maybe this will help improve my luck. Show producers did let us know that one episode will feature Serena organizing a blind date for Venus with a well-known rapper.

The Williams duo plans to complete the pilot during the spring of 2009 and market it to networks for on-air programming by the fall.
