Crybaby Kanye…

Posted May 4, 2008 by JohnJohn

Here we go again with Kanye “crying” over spilled milk. Apparently, a staff writer from Entertainment Weekly rated Kanye’s “Glow in the Dark” tour as a “B+”. I don’t think that’s a terrible rating being that I gave Kanye’s recent album a “B-”, but to Kanye it was a slap in the face and his ego forced him to respond in an ignorant manner as usual.

See Kanye’s response below:

“Yo, anybody that’s not a fan; don’t come to my show. For what?! To try to throw yall to cents in? Yall rated my album shitty and now yall come to the show and give it a B+. What’s a B+ mean? I’m an extremist. It’s either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, fuck you and the whole fucking staff!!! I know I shouldn’t dignify this with a comment, but the reviewer threw a jab at all the artists. I just wanna know when was the last time you enjoyed yourself. If you can’t have fun and loose yourself at this tour it’s a good chance you’re a very miserable person. I actually feel sorry for you guys. Your job forces you to not have fun anymore. Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party bitch!!! You don’t know shit about passion and art. You’ll never gain credibility at this rate. You’re fucking trash! I make art. You can’t rate this. I’m a real person. I’m not a pop star. I don’t care about anything but making great art. Never come 2 one of my shows ever again, you’re not invited and if you see me… BOW!!! This is not pop, it’s pop art! Chris Willman, kill yourself!”

Like I said before, there’s a fine line between genius and stupidity and Kanye tiptoes on both sides.

Kanye…not everybody is going to fall in love with everything you do and your temper tantrums don’t help your cause…get over yourself!

That by far has to be one of the worst responses I have ever seen from an Artist. It’s not important to have the staff writers approval, but it shows Kanye has a lack of control over himself and hasn’t grasped the concept of “constructive criticism” yet. Maybe Kanye was so busy in the studio producing and making tracks that he has not seen the energy that a lot of other hip-hop and pop artists bring when they do a concert. Kanye forget the lyrics to his feature on John Legend’s song (can’t remember the song) on National T.V. If you can’t put in the work to memorize lyrics that you wrote during John Legend’s Concert, you don’t know how to respect yourself or anybody else. This is definitely some crybaby stuff though. Great post JohnJohn.

I can’t lie, Kanye is scaring me. I was certain that my boy wasn’t ***, but after that outlashI don’t know… His comments made him sound pretty fruity… and disrespectful.
Well he lost his mama, his girl and a fan… I can’t tolerate that kind of behavior. I’m sorry Kanye and if you so happen to read, “You can’t tell me nothing.”

Wow… I’m amazed that he went off like that… I haven’t truly read any of his past comments but I don’t think that they were as offensive as this…
I feel sorry for him myself… losing his momma like that… maybe he is still somewhat dealing with that.. and using music as an outlet, so when its judged it’s offensive to him… like a woman- when she’s “venting” she just wants you to hear her out and listen… don’t try to find the issue in what she’s sayin’ or comment about how she’s sayin’ it- just shut up and nod a few times.
