50 Cents Vitamin Water is a fraud
Rapper 50 Cent has been caught up in a new lawsuit over Vitamin Water for allegedly misleading consumers about the nutritional content.
Multi-platinum selling rapper 50 Cent, who’s supposedly healthy drink is distributed through Coca-Cola, is facing legal issues not related to music.
Vitamin Water’s reputation has come under fire after officials at The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) filed a class action suit against its parent firm, claiming executives knowingly misinformed customers about the benefits of the drink.
The lawsuit alleges the distributing company knowingly used health conscious buzzwords to imply the drink was nutritionally beneficial, but in reality it contains excessive sugar and calories similar to other carbonated soda drinks.
Coca-Cola bosses have denied the claims, dismissing the suit as a publicity stunt. But lawyer of 50 Cent filed a motion in an attempt to protect the financial incentives received from the rapper’s ownership in the Vitamin Water company.
