Chris Brown

MICHAEL JACKSON, MADONNA and CHRIS BROWN became the target of April Fool’s Day jokes on Wednesday when two Los Angeles-based radio stations tricked listeners by hiring celebrity impostors to phone into the show.

DJs at Latino 96.3 pretended to host calls from the King and Queen of Pop on Wednesday morning, after announcing the odd couple planned to wed.

The pranksters also poked fun at Madonna’s current bid to expand her family with a second child from Malawi, a sister for three-year-old David, whose adoption was finalized in 2008 after two years of legal wrangling.

Posing as Jacko, the unnamed impersonator said, "It’s a big surprise, we’re making a special announcement today here on your show. It’s my fiancee, none other than Madonna. We’re getting married because we both want to adopt. And this way, we’re both married with stable families."

The fake Madonna added, "And frankly, I’m tired of people… talking about me, so now I’m marrying the King of Pop and I’ll adopt the entire continent of Africa if I want to."

Listeners of K-Earth 101 were also left stunned when they were duped into thinking they were listening to Chris Brown’s father. A man posing as Clinton Brown came on air and declared

Rihanna deserved to be beaten up during the headline-grabbing 8 February (09) altercation with his ’son’, for which the Kiss Kiss singer is facing felony charges relating to the alleged assault.
