Jamie Foxx was drugged
JAMIE FOXX is searching for the former college roommate who saved his life after he was spiked with a deadly hallucinogenic drug.
The actor claims Mark Pobart comforted and cared for him while he endured days of terrifying visions and voices, brought on by a dose of phencyclidine – more commonly known as PCP, Angel Dust or moondust.
Foxx – who plays a schizophrenic musical genius in new movie The Soloist – tells the New York Daily News, "When I was in college, someone slipped me PCP.”
Foxx continued, “I thought I was losing my mind. I was hearing voices. I had a roommate, Mark Pobart, who got me through those nights. I haven’t seen him in years. But I hope he reads this and contacts me. He really saved my life."
