Swazy Baby…Slips-n-Slides
The homey Ritz at Slip-n-Slide Records emailed me today and wanted some feedback on this new record by Slip-n-Slide’s upcoming artist Swazy Baby. When I get asked for feedback…that’s exactly what I give for better or for worse.
The Good: The beat and the hook are high energy and give the song potential to be a radio/club hit and if it gets enough radio spins…we’ll all be singing this song and Swazy Baby might just have a Hit Record!
The Bad: The entire song is saturated with auto-tune and uses the overused themes of money, b*tches and swagger…it lacks originality as nothing about the song made Swazy Baby standout. I might rock to the single…but I have no interest in hearing an entire album from Swazy Baby.
Just might 2 1/2 cent…enjoy!

On March 25, 2010 at 3:30 pmThe song is nice. Very good comercial joint. I would say if dude was already well known this song would be right on point. It does remind me of a drake song so much I was hearing the verse from one of Drakes joints in my head while it was playing. Thats not good but I dont think its all that bad either. Auto tune was cool but I would stay away from it simply because its whats everybody doing right now. Still a Good Job.
