T-Pain gets death threats…cancels show
Rapper/Singer T-Pain has reportedly been forced to cancel a concert in South America after receiving death and kidnapping threats.
The auto-tune hitmaker was due to perform as part of Carnival celebrations in the South American country on Monday, but verified death threats from militia groups caused the singer to withdraw from the festivities.
The event’s promoter announced that the concert was called off, after the star received e-mail and phone threats from an unidentified source.
Said a close source, “We don’t know exactly what was said, but whatever happened it was serious enough to caused him (T-Pain) to give back all of his ‘up front money’ and pay the cancellation fee.”
We’re glad he’s safe, but hopefully these rappers learn they can’t flaunt jewelry and money in these 3rd world countries and not expect something to happen.
