It’s time…
The most anticipated album of the hip-hop year has finally arrived as Lil’ Wayne’s The Carter III is finally in stores. I gotta’ admit that I’m not a big fan of Lil’ Wayne, but I do recognize the genius in this lil’ crazy dude. Believe it or not, I plan to buy the album.
Yep, usually I get the hook-up on bootlegs, but I’ll support real hip-hop talent. Give me a week to listen before I give you my review, but I can pretty much guarantee that it won’t live up to the hype.

Lil’ Wayne is #1…
Lil’ Wayne captured his first #1 Billboard single this past week with “Lollipop”. For Lil’ Wayne fans, it’s hard to believe that this is his first #1 single, especially since “Lollipop” is the most annoying song ever. I just hope he doesn’t follow in the footsteps of T-Pain by over using that vocal tube synthesizer.
Either way, I gotta’ give him props for this accomplishment. It’s great to see a talented rap artist having success versus a “one hit wonder”.
Carter III album cover…
Is it or ain’t it….I don’t know because so much floats around this great thing called the internet…but either way, I had to give you a look at what could be the cover of Lil Wayne’s new album that is coming hopefully in May….I guess its better to have his baby picture on the album cover than to have a picture of him kissing Baby.
Lil’ Addict
Lil’ Wayne admits that he is addicted to “sizzurp”, a mixture of soda/alcohol and prescription-strength codeine…but states that he has no plans of giving up the drink that played a role in the death of legendary rapper “Pimp C” in December of 2007.
There’s a fine line between genius and crazy…but this one falls in the “STUPID” category
