My key learning was that making a reality TV show is not unlike what we do every day as storytellers: take loads of data and try to cobble it together into a cohesive and compelling storyline.

Montana has finally put a little red meat into its old-time process of recording livestock branding.The state just wrapped up a once-per-decade process that requires branding information for livestock to be re-recorded. For the first time, that process was made available online. The yearlong registration concluded at the end of 2011. Brands — or symbols emblazoned on certain areas of an animal’s body — are required for livestock to help prevent loss or theft, and can act as a return address if one of the livestock is somehow separated from its owner. Throughout the state of Montana, more than 55,000 active brands exist, according to the Livestock Department.Livestock owners must submit the image of their brand and the required fee to the state, but only once every 10 years are they required to update their brand’s information for the state government’s recordkeeping. through the new online service, Rerecord.mt.gov, livestock owners were able to submit the required information online instead of mailing in paper forms or bringing necessary paperwork to the branding office in Helena.

The Drake vs. Common beef may not have seen any recent diss tracks released since Comm remixed “Stay Schemin” to go after Drizzy. however, various rappers are still giving their thoughts on it, including up and coming lyricist Papoose.
The Common and Drake beef may not have achieved the level of previous hip hop battles such as LL Cool J vs. Kool Moe D, or KRS-One vs. Juice Crew, but it has people talking these days. French Montana commented on it, as well as hip hop heavies Scarface and Birdman. an underrated star in hip hop is rapper Papoose, real name Shamele Mackie, who recently spoke to Hot 93.7′s Kevin W. Reese. Papoose said when asked about the beef: “Interesting, man. Because Common is a master lyricist. and I think Drake is nice, too. It’d be interesting to see the outcome. I’m like everyone else. I’m just waiting to see what happens. to me, it’s interesting…it ain’t gonna be a walk in the park.”The independent rap star also talked about the fact he isn’t working for a major label. Common and Drake are, but Papoose believes he’s got things figured out in terms of gaining popularity and sales. maybe a hot rap feud would help? still, it’s smart for him to take the middle ground on this one, because he never knows when either Common or Drake might put him on a track. Now if Drake were to make a diss track about Papoose, and Common teamed up with him to fire back, consider this one game over!
