Is Jazmine Sullivan better than Jennifer Hudson?
Grammy nominated singer Jazmine Sullivan is gaining comparisons to highly successful R&B sensation Jennifer Hudson.
Although Jazmine Sullivan went home empty handed after landing five Grammy nominations, she is intent on following in the footsteps of Jennifer Hudson by becoming a movie star and singing sensation.
Sullivan will star in a new film about the Tuskegee Airmen – America’s first black military pilots.
She says, “I play a singer who entertains soldiers. I’m really just entertainment for them, but I kind of get a little relationship going with one of them. So that’s very exciting.”
A music critic recently described Sullivan as “a hybrid between Jennifer Hudson and Lauren Hill…but better.”
I finally broke-down and bought her CD last week, and considering that I usually buy bootleg copies…I was really impressed with her talent and style.

Have you even heard he CD? She has different styles of music on her CD and she does wonders with her voice, hell thats one of the things that I love about her CD is that she’s not singing with power the whole time. You really need to re-respond when you either listened to Jennifer Hudson’s CD or when you sobber up.

On October 14, 2009 at 5:57 pmu all are hillarious!! jazmine sullivans voice has range like no other! her runs are sick and her voice is very unique in a good way! she can go from high 2 low in a second! her style is hot and she’s not trying to be like the next person! she’s jazmine sullivan! not the next jennifer hudson…i personally dont think the 2 are a good comparison. their voices are totaly different! jennifer hudson has a loud strong churchy voice while jazmine sullivan has a unique soulful mellifluous voice i was a huge fan of jennifer hudson from american idol to dream girls to her album…i still am but i enjoyed jazmine sullivan’s album more and i look foward 2 hearing and seeing more of jazmine sullivan
