It’s either jail or the 8 root canals Lil Wayne had last week. Either way…he’s acting strange.
The Lollipop hitmaker, real name Dwayne Carter, Jr., signed up to the micro-blogging website on Monday (22Feb10) under the username ‘liltunechi’.
In his first ‘tweet’, Wayne, who will be sentenced for weapons charges next week (02Mar10), wrote, "im super new to this twitter shit but wudup tho!……….follow me………. 8 days of freedom."
Within 15 hours of his post, he had racked up more than 75,000 followers – but later appeared to be paranoid about setting up the account despite the encouragement of his record label.
On Thursday morning (24Feb10), the hip-hop star wrote, "gunna stop with the tweets now that i see they’re so unliked…..its a mirror of my thoughts, and obviously my thoughts arent welkome. sorry."
He apparently went on to cancel every email account he owns and then sent out "I love you" messages on his cell phone to every person in his contact list.
