MICHAEL JACKSON is reportedly fuming with concert promoters for booking 50 comeback concerts in London – because he wanted to tour the globe with his sellout show.
The Thriller hitmaker is set to return to the stage in July for a mammoth run in the British capital.
But the singer originally intended to stage only 10 gigs at the O2 arena as part of a worldwide tour – and was shocked to discover promoters had increased the number of dates five-fold without telling him, according to British newspaper The Sun.
Jackson reportedly told fans, "I don’t know how I’m going to do 50 shows. I’m really angry with them booking me up to do 50 shows. I only wanted to do 10, and take the tour around the world to other cities, not 50 in one place.
"I went to bed knowing I sold 10 dates, and woke up to the news I was booked to do 50."
Meanwhile, Jackson has confirmed he plans to team up with his family to stage a Jackson 5 reunion show in Texas next year.
The singer has been locked in talks to perform with sister Janet and brothers Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon and on Monday he revealed to website TMZ.com that the concert will go ahead.
