Oscar favorite MO’NIQUE has given her manager/husband a free pass to be unfaithful, insisting an affair wouldn’t mean the end of their marriage.
The Precious star has revealed she and husband Sidney Hicks have an open marriage – and she has known her soul mate for too long to file for divorce over any infidelity.
In a candid new pre-Oscars chat with newswoman Barbara Walters, Mo’Nique says, "Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’
"What if it’s 20 times? So what? We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband."

Are you kidding me, then why be married!? I’m sure she’s heard this from all sides but why be married for real. Marriage is a vow between two people to be truthful and loyal to one another. Just because you say he’s your bestfriend? Yes my husband is my bestfriend but infidelity is the ultimate betrayal, even if Monique you know about it. I’d rather be divorce and pay alimony then be married and it be a joke.

Well, it aint no differet than swingers. I mean its one of them things where women take their husbands back after they cheat anyway, even those ones that say I will never take my husband back if he cheat. They just keepin it real that they know each other gonna sleep around and they are comfortable with knowing that about one another. What works for one couple may not work for the next and an open marriage is what works for them. Who are we to judge, that’s for God to do. Besides marriage is not solely based on sex anyway, because you can be in love with a person and not enjoy their sex and want to get pleased by someone else, again who are we to judge someone elses relationship?
I wish they were not but that is their business. I am a happily married woman and infidelity would be a deal breaker for me simply because I would view it as the ultimate betrayal. But that is me However, I wish them the best regardless.
