Fabolous embarrassed after credit card declined
Rapper Fabolous was left holding the bill as his credit card was rejected.
The hip-hop star arrived at a bar in Atlanta with an entourage of 20 prepared for an excessive night of women and drinking, and therefore proceeded to order several bottles of expensive champagne and alcohol.
The rapper’s “money man” was asked to put a credit card down to pay for the tab, but was humiliated after each of his four credit cards were denied.
Said the bar’s hostess, “By the fifth credit card, the entourage member designated to take care of Fab’s tab angrily exited the bar to go out to the car to get another card.” The outside bouncer stopped the guy because he thought the entourage member was trying to leave without paying his tab, and ultimately the two of them got into a fight.
According to witnesses, “Fabolous’s entourage member tripped and fell, hitting his head on the concrete and started bleeding. But ran away from the scene when an ambulance and police arrived.”
Fabolous was said to be so embarrassed that he “bought the bar” that night with cash and continued to apologize profusely to the bar manager and its workers.
