Dang Karl…

Posted April 30, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff |Category: Uncategorized

Karl Malone, the former NBA star, allegedly had a sexual relationship with a 12 year old while he was in college. Wait it gets worse. The girl became pregnant and had Karl’s son when she was just 13 years old.

The son, who names is Demetrius Bell, was drafted to the NFL but didn’t meet his father until he was 18 years old and Karl made matters worse when he told him, “It was too late to be his father, and that Bell would have to ‘earn his money on his own.”

First, it was R. Kelly, then the Catholic Priest, then Roger Clemens, and now Karl Malone. Mark my words, more victims will come forward and a lot of people we admire will be exposed. It’s a scary time to be a kid.

David Blaine, whom I call the “crazy magician”, broke a Guinness Record by holding his breath for 17 minutes and 4 seconds while underwater. He accomplished this record breaking performance in front of millions of viewer on the Oprah show.

I hate to say it, but I can almost guarantee that some kid will drown within the next week trying to copycat this feat.

That’s the world we live in.

Most beautiful…

Kate Hudson, the daughter of Goldie Hawn and star of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, topped People Magazine’s “100 most beautiful” list. Ok, I admit she’s a pretty girl, but there’s no way she should be at the top of the list. I would have to go with…….hmmmm…..Oprah!

Now it’s your turn. Let me know who you think should be at the top of the JohnJohnSaidIt most beautiful list.

What the horse…

The world’s first cloned horse has given birth. The 5-year-old horse who garnered significant media attention when she was created in 2003 has set precedence in regards to the possibilities of cloning by becoming a parent.

Now that they’ve cloned a horse, which is obviously healthy and able to reproduce, it’s only a matter of time before they clone humans (if they haven’t already). I don’t know about you, but I only want one “JohnJohn” walking around this earth.

Let me know what you think.

Struck out…

Roger Clemens, former Major League pitcher, already had big problems with federal investigators regarding his possible use of steroids. Now Mindy McCready, the country singer, has verified that she and Roger had a decade long affair.

Wait it gets worse. At the time of the affair, Roger was 28 years old and married with two kids while Mindy was only 15-years-old. Yep, ironically the same age Miley Cyrus is right now.

Can you say… “Struck out”!

About time…

Barack Obama finally decided to distance himself from Jeremiah Wright, his controversial pastor of almost 20 years. In a press conference, Obama stated that some of Wright’s recent comments “contradict everything I am about and who I am.”

I can’t believe it took Obama this long to break ties with Wright. In reality, Wright scares the majority of “White America” with his outspoken viewpoints. I’m black and he scares me at times.

Ultimately we can’t ignore the fact that race will be a deciding factor for many Americans when its time to vote for President.

Gary Dourdan, the guy from CSI, was arrested in Palm Springs yesterday on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs.

Wow…Maybe he was just testing the drugs for an upcoming role in CSI.

PS: He doesn’t look like that yet, but it won’t be long with all the drugs he’s on.

Blow the whistle…

Lebron James, the All-star forward for the Cleveland Cavaliers has been in a verbal and sometimes physical battle with the entire Washington Wizards basketball team. Members of the Wizards, specifically Deshawn Stevenson, have called Lebron “overrated” and have tried to rough him up during their playoff series.

Lebron managed to stay professional and not retaliate, but his good friend Jay-Z couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be a part of the beef and created a diss song defending Lebron.

Awwww…I guess it’s an example of the “Half -Billion Dollar Man” looking out for the “100 Million Dollar Man.”

I gotta’ get me some rich friends.

Hannah Montana topless…

Posted April 28, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff |Category: Celebrity

Miley Cyrus, the star of the Disney’s Hannah Montana show, has apologized for semi-nude pictures that will appear in an upcoming issue of Vanity Fair magazine. According to Miley, “”I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

I have hope that she is not the next Britney, Paris or Lindsay because I’ve seen interviews with her and she seems to have a descent head on her shoulders. My concern is with her parents.

Some type of warning light should have gone off in her parents’ head when they were asked to allow their 15-year-old daughter to take her bra off for a photo shoot.

I’ve had a chance to see the controversial photo, and it’s definitely not as bad as the media attention it’s garnering, but you can’t escape the fact that she only 15 years old.

Lil’ Wayne is #1…

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff |Category: Hip Hop

Lil’ Wayne captured his first #1 Billboard single this past week with “Lollipop”. For Lil’ Wayne fans, it’s hard to believe that this is his first #1 single, especially since “Lollipop” is the most annoying song ever. I just hope he doesn’t follow in the footsteps of T-Pain by over using that vocal tube synthesizer.

Either way, I gotta’ give him props for this accomplishment. It’s great to see a talented rap artist having success versus a “one hit wonder”.
