Usher’s wife went into coma…almost died
Despite Usher’s attempts to keep the medical situation under wraps, new details have emerged regarding Tameka Foster’s medical emergency.
The Raymond family has demanded total privacy and barred the hospital from giving any information on the 37-year-old mother of two who is currently listed in stable condition.
Yet details have leaked out demonstrating the seriousness of Foster’s condition. She was rushed to the hospital’s intensive care unit last Friday after going into cardiac and respiratory arrest during a liposuction procedure.
The life-threatening condition reportedly occured as the R&B star’s wife was being anesthetized and the hospital placed Raymond in a self-enduced coma to save her life.
Although she is currently in recovery, there were moments when doctors were not sure if she would make it through such severe trauma, and have requested that she not be moved to a state-side hospital until her health improves.
It was definitely more serious than we ever imagined. We wish them the best.
