Fight for $100 million

Posted November 25, 2008 by JJSaidIt Staff

It’s going to take $100 million for retired boxer Lennox Lewis to step back into the ring again.

Lewis said on Sunday he would be tempted to return only if he was offered the $100 million sum, and nothing less.

Whatever…I would rather pay to see Michael Jackson fight Prince.

On the road again

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

One day after going winless at the American Music Awards, Lil Wayne announced plans to hit the road again to support his double-platinum album, “Tha Carter III.”

I’m not the biggest Wayne supporter, but I can’t believe he didn’t win anything.  He should have at least gotten the prestigious…funniest lookin’ rapper award.

Check to see when he’s coming to your town

The Fat Boys are back

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

Emerging from the 1980’s, the Fat Boys have reunited to champion what they’ve dubbed the “Hip-Hop Old School Movement.”

The group originally began as a trio in 1982 featuring Prince Markie Dee, Kool Rock-Ski, and pioneering beatboxer the late Buffy AKA Buff Love.

Although Buffy passed away in 1995 from a massive heart attack, the two surviving member have decided to make a comeback.

Here’s a video to refresh your memory.

Madonna + Guy Ritchie = Home-run

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

Madonna was finally granted a preliminary divorce from Guy Ritchie last Friday, and now Madonna and New York Yankee Alex Rodriguez will spend their first Thanksgiving together at Rodriguez’s place in New York.

Yea right…as if this is the first time they’ve actually “spent time together.”

Amy in hospital…again

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

Grammy winning singer Amy Winehouse has checked-in to England’s London Clinic due to an allergic reaction to medication.

The R&B superstar was taken to the hospital on Sunday after usage of some form of medical treatment reportedly resulted in illness, but no official word on when she will be discharged has been released yet.

Too much cocaine will do that to ya.

Bruce Lee plays ping-pong with nunchucks.

I still can’t tell if this is fake, but Bruce Lee is probably the only person who could pull it off.

Usher’s baby mama…again

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

During a radio interview this morning, Usher announced the sex of his second child with wife Tameka Foster, as well as the baby’s due date.

Doctors told the couple that they’re having another boy, and he’s due to arrive on Dec. 15, just in time for the holidays.

I am happy for them, but it seems like his music has suffered since having a family.

His Purpleness

Posted by JJSaidIt Staff

In a recent article, Prince gave his take on the differences between Republicans and Democrats.

“You’ve got the Republicans, and basically they want to live according to this,” he said, pointing to a Bible. “But there’s the problem of interpretation, and you’ve got some churches, some people, basically doing things and saying it comes from here, but it doesn’t.

And then on the opposite end of the spectrum you’ve got blue, you’ve got the Democrats, and they’re, like, ‘You can do whatever you want.’ Gay marriage, whatever. But neither of them is right.”

For some reason I never envisioned Prince as a political-spiritual leader, but that’s just me.
