Spears and hotel princess Paris Hilton, in the past, have intentionally flashed hawk-eyed photographers while exiting their luxury vehicles. But the star of Cougar Town Monday put on her own flash show for paparazzi while getting out of her car at Spago restaurant in Los Angeles. Thankfully, though, she was wearing panties at the time!
Looking at her today, it’s hard believe that people once hailed Britney Spears as the 2nd coming of Janet Jackson. indeed, although her PR team forged a convient likeness to fellow blonde Madonna, it was clear that Britney’s creative team was reading and applying pages of “Miss Janet” book. and by we mean no shade, rather a nod to her. Ms. Spears used to be one hell of a performer.
If you haven’t seen the men and women of the British Royal Navy frolicking their way through the Mariah Carey yuletide standard, “All I want for Christmas Is you,” you should know that the singer herself has checked it out and endorsed it on Twitter.

Kesha dropped an expletive-laden birthday message to Britney Spears, who celebrated her 30th on Friday, Dec. 2. Brit was enjoying her big day, lounging in bed with sons Sean Preston and Jayden James as she poured through messages, greetings and well-wishes from fans. Fellow pop starlet Kesha sent Brit a video message, saying “happy f—ing birthday.”
Britney Spears and Rihanna’s careers have diverged since “S&M” tied the two together, but their latest videos, “we Found Love” and “Criminal,” are awfully similar. both songs are middling–Spears’ “Criminal” is a trifle, neither as immediate as her other singles nor as sonically inventive as Femme Fatale‘s album tracks, and “we Found Love” is a lot of empty noise by Calvin Harris with emptier lyrics that doesn’t bounce enough to distract you from Rihanna’s foregoing time to grow between albums. their videos debuted only a few days apart. both were filmed in or near the U.K., upsetting politicians and farmers therein. both are racy; both contain one or both of violence and crime. both feature bad boys and their bad schemes. both unabashedly evoke the artists’ personal lives, and both are the more effective for it.
While Britney Spears’ various costumes were no doubt being tributed last night at various Halloween parties across the country, it was the pop star’s songbook that was honored on The Sing-Off. Competing group Pentatonix performed an a cappella medley to Ms. Spears, mashing up her singles “Oops!… I Did It Again”, “Toxic” and “Hold It Against Me”. Britney Spears expressed her condolences Tuesday (October 25) to the family of a fan who died after attending her concert Monday in Dublin, Ireland.
Siobhan Healy, 31, was on a fairground ride called the Tip Top outside the concert venue when she was thrown to the ground and killed instantly. according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail, Healy had attended Spears’ concert earlier in the evening at the nearby O2 arena.
