Condoleezza Rice’s memoir to address lesbian rumors
Politician’s book deal to shed light on very private personal life.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will meet with publishers later this month to discuss three book projects, including a memoir of her service in the Bush administration.
Executives at two publishing houses say potential deals would also include a memoir about Rice’s personal life in the Bush administration where she is expected to maintain loyalty to her former boss. Said one democratic spokesman, “She’s never wavered in her public support for him (Bush) and we don’t expect anything different now”.
Publishers reportedly believe there is a strong interest in her story, despite criticism for her loyalty to an unpopular president.
According to rumor mills, the 54-year-old minister’s daughter who has never been married is expected to address lesbian rumor and open up about her personal life.
Although Rice was known to date at least one man in college, most of the lesbian rumors stem from the fact that Rice has never been married, but once owned a house and shared a line of credit with another woman, although the nature of their partnership still remains unknown.
The senior aide to Rice said that she will visit with publishers in New York in late January to discuss details of the memoir.
