Hip hop mogul couldn’t hold back the tears at movie showcase.
Notorious, which is the epic story of hip-hop’s Brooklyn son Christopher Wallace, a.k.a. Biggie Smalls, managed to draw hip hop royalty to the red carpet including Diddy, Mary J. Blige, Ice T, and Faith Evans.
Diddy, who was all smiles and cheers on the red carpet, reportedly had a distinct change of emotions and body language as the film progressed. According to one BET winner who was allowed to attend the preview, “Diddy sat between Biggie’s mom and Faith…and towards the end of the movie he just kept his head down like he couldn’t stand to watch”.
One east-coast rapper familiar with Diddy and Biggie’s relationship was not surprised by the out pour of emotion, “What you expect? It’s like watching your best friend die all over again”.
Following the movie, Diddy hosted a premiere party to lightened the mood and “celebrate Bigg’s life and influence”. Once noticeable figure missing was Lil’ Kim who is angry about the way she was portrayed in the film.

Everyone knows Diddy’s personality, but to say it was for the media’s attention is just ludacris… Kanye is a media whore to, but I refuse to believe that the way he’s taken his mother’s passing is all the media… Diddy and Biggie were close, closer than close… and so for one night, Diddy gets a pass…
